    I bought it because the guy showed me all the openings all over the jacket to help keep you cool. 
    All the openings did zero good because the jacket pressed against me negating the air flow that was supposed occur while riding. 

    Lots of disagreement over whether mesh gear works or not (depends on how hot it is for the evaporation to be effective)  but I wear mesh jacket and pants all summer and survive.  Better than nothing and lots better than a full leather jacket. Just have to keep hydrated..... Check out wickedstock.com.  Good quality gear at a decent price.

    Too hot in Texas for that extra add-on stuff.  I wear the armored jacket, pants, and gloves all the time.  And always remember the two basic rules for motorcycles:  1.  Don't fall down and 2.  Everyone else on the road is trying to kill you.

    I started to say that this girl is completely nuts, but then remembered that I have done a few very similar things and decided not to throw rocks from my glass house. 

    Still nuts and we hope she doesn't have a hard lesson from it....

    Graf - one foot in mud, one foot in snow and dirt blowing in your face.  My favorite Graf story was talking with my German landlord about it.  He was in Rommel's command and trained at Graf in the 1930s.  Same stories we told, separated by 40 years.

    WTH is up with these stupid ****ing so-called battle cries by the Army and Navy. I knew about the Marine “Oorah” for a long time, but now I see the Navy supposedly has a call of Hooyah? Bull Crap!

    My guess is a bunch of whiney douchbag new ensigns and 2nd lieutenants got dare wittle feewings huht because Marines had a battle cry and they didn’t. 
     

    Don't know about the Navy, but the Army "hooah" has been around as long as the Marines cry.  I can remember it from about 40 years ago, just never thought much of it.

    I don’t ride as much as I did before retiring, but then I rode my bike to and from work nearly every day. The bike I currently have has a seat height of 33 inches plus hard saddle bags. Sometimes getting on the bike is, I won’t say difficult, but it is harder to do than it used to be. 
    All of a sudden this bike looks much more appealing to me with a 26” seat height.

    If I remove the hard saddle bags my bike is much easier to get on to. I may just take them off unless I absolutely need them. 
    It’s funny, I don’t have a photo of it without the saddle bags.

    My V1K is just as tall and when I get lazy swinging the leg over the saddlebags, I stand up up on the left peg and swing the leg.  It's not tall then.  Now stay away from the cruiser....
