With Ohtani being injured, it will be interesting to see how the strategy changes.  There is a whole lot of gamesmanship behind what details and how much are going to be divulged.  They may "Say" he's going to play, but will he really...........

Well he hasn’t been doing much, he’s 1 for 8 I believe. I hope he’s okay but if he can’t play I think they’ll do okay without him.
They said it’s a partial shoulder separation 🙄

  2. I never got into Dylan or any of that kind of stuff, I was into R&B, Motown and jazz. I still am. Also Steely Dan, Chicago, BS&T, EW&F, Sly and the Family Stone, etc etc.............I was in a band called the Blue Eyed Souls!!!:) Most of the clubs I played with that band and other bands all wanted dance music. I played drums and that was cool stuff to play.

Let me add Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Weather Report and a bunch of other jazz fusion groups. I listened to the old big band stuff with Buddy Rich, Louis Bellson, Gene Krupa also over and over again!

On July 2, 1963, baseball witnessed an unforgettable showdown that still echoes in MLB history. It wasn't just a game; it was a clash of titans—Juan Marichal of the San Francisco Giants and Warren Spahn of the Milwaukee Braves. Both pitchers delivered an extraordinary display of stamina and skill, going head-to-head for a mind-boggling 15 scoreless innings.
Marichal, just 25 years old, hurled an incredible 230 pitches, while the veteran Spahn, at 42, threw 204. The two legends matched each other pitch for pitch, defying exhaustion, before the iconic Willie Mays finally ended the duel with a solo home run in the 16th inning, giving the Giants a 1-0 victory.
It was a night of grit, determination, and pure love for the game. When Spahn was asked about the game later, he quipped with his characteristic humor, "I thought my arm was going to fall off!" But it didn't. Instead, it gave fans one of the greatest games ever pitched in baseball history.
This game wasn’t just about the numbers—it was a battle of endurance, a display of two pitchers' refusal to back down, and a reminder of the raw, unfiltered beauty of baseball.

And a classic match up with a long history. A coast to coast "subway series. "

The opening of the pregame was pretty good.

I never watch the opening, I caught Brad Paisley singing the National Anthem, ehhhhh

Good game so far but I’m dozing off  slowly……. Gotta leave early for a shoot tomorrow 😎

I keep track of this stuff and have seen nearly all of it in the course of the week.  It sure does diminish a Friday  to see it all in a big greasy pile.

    Seen what? Can you explain?

I have very large hands. The Birdshead and the regular plow handle grips just don't work for me. I use Rugers with the Bisley grip. Works best for me

I have medium size hands and I don’t like the way they feel. I’ll stick with the good old plow handle grips.
