  1. If you notice also how long it is. Steinway is the one that came up with "over stringing", where the bass strings go over the other strings and lean to the right making the piano shorter and wider and therefore getting the same sound as the long cabinet. Steinway is brilliant, the best!! All the major innovations in the piano design over the years have been by Steinway!
  2. All that said and I commend him for his service to our country, BUT, he was an anti-gun Ohio senator who consistently voted against our second amendment. He was a terrible senator. I'm a lifelong Ohio voter and have written him letters about the gun issue a few times. He wrote me back and voted FOR the assault weapons ban because he said "criminals should not have AUTOMATIC weapons. This was right after the famous bank robbery in California where the criminals had full autos. Guess he didn't know the difference between FULL and SEMI-AUTO even though he said he was a lifelong gun owner and served in the military.
  3. Very observant of you!!! The original pianos all had 85 keys. It was sometime in the late 1800's or early 1900's when they went to 88 keys.
  4. I'm glad you said that Seamus, I once wrote him a letter urging him to vote against the assault weapon ban back sometime in the 90's and he wrote back saying that the recent events in California where the criminals outgunned the police with AUTOMATIC WEAPONS, proved that there's no room for assault rifles on the street!!! He told me he was a second amendment supporter and grew up around guns. Yea, right so he didn't know the difference between a FULL AUTO and a SEMI Auto??? I wrote him back and then never heard from him again. Seamus is right, as a politician he was a useless liberal voting strictly party line. Terrible senator! I do however, commend his service to our country and may he rest in peace.

  8. Actually "Rye" is a short name for Zachariah, which was Rye Miles' (the real one) father's name and his father was called "Rye. Everyone thinks it's because he drank a lot of rye whiskey, which very well could be true!! I like it myself!! Sgt. J. T. "Rye" Miles Arizona Ranger, cattleman, Sheriff of Tucson, Constable of Benson,Az and later a prison guard at Yuma prison.

  12. A friend of mine "Little Bob" was his alias. This was back in 1996, he was so stoked up about this cowboy shoot he found he got me excited. I had a Ruger Blackhawk, bought myself a Win 94 and a Stoeger sg and went with another pard of mine. (Only used one pistol back then) Got hooked! Little Bob no longer shoots, he quit because of his retail job Saturdays are a big day for him. (car sales) I'm still chugging along and I will until I just can't anymore!!
