  3. Colt is actually producing 1911's, Mustang pocket lites in .380 and AR's. They've lowered the price on all these. I bought a 1911 Gov't model in .45 for $699.00, also got a Mustang pocket-lite in .380 for $475.00.
  4. Nothing to worry about I'm just dry firing right now!! It's winter here!!
  5. With shipping it'll be close to $475.00, I'd rather get an 1851!!! Happy New Year Charlie!
  6. I've been using a crossdraw since I started in 1996!!!! I'm going gunfighter though, (I think) I've been ...ugh...practisin'
  7. I had one and also had a Kel-Tec which is basically the same. Nice little carry gun, a little hand biter but very concealable. I prefer the LC9S, which is what I'm carrying now. Happy hunting!
  8. I'm semi-retired, working part time. I'm self employed and get to choose when I work and when I don't.
  9. http://www.taylorsfirearms.com/hand-guns/blackpowder-revolvers/1873-cattleman-blackpowder.html If it wasn't almost $500.00, I'd buy one!!
  10. I'll betcha they take a year or more for new ones from the custom shop!
  11. They used some kind of pop gun once at an Indians game to launch HOT DOGS!!!!
  12. I bought my first Colt in 1998, it was $1000.00 NIB.....a couple years later then shot up to $1500.00....a couple years later they were a bit lower like maybe around 1200-1300, now they seem to be on the rise again! Demand is higher than supply!
  13. Hope you can get by the Cubs, Cardinals finished 17.5 games behind them last year! GOOD LUCK!!
  14. Yep I was loading 1-1/8oz. but last year cut down to 1oz. They work great!!
  15. Colt's website lists prices for a New Frontier at $1599.00 so if it's in good condition that's not a bad price considering there's a 2 year wait on a new one!!
  16. Only 46 days until the Indian's pitchers and catchers report to Arizona for spring training!!!!
  17. In perspective: In 1918 the flu pandemic killed an estimated 100 million people, 5 % of the world's population at the time!
  18. You're right I believe it was even used AFTER the west was settled!
