Happy March/Spring!
Rye Miles #13621 replied to H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
It was 60 here on Friday, yesterday was 50, today it’s 29 and we got a dusting! What a roller coaster of a winter here in NE OHIO. 60’ s next weekend! -
There’s a shoot coming up here in Ohio this Saturday, supposed to be 60 degrees! Tusco Long Riders!

Prayers for Forty Rod “UPDATED!”

Prayers up 🙏🙏🙏 -
No not really because no one shoots really hot loads so it’s a moot point, if you read what Pat Riot said his loads were not too hot at all. I missed that!

USA Today Admits Using "questionable" Numbers

I always thought these liberal outlets were doing that! At least they admitted it, now stop it! -
At the shoots I go to we make fun of guys with mouse fart loads! 😂😂
-
I can’t believe they get away with selling these packages! There’s got to be something unlawful about this!
-
Well with all due respect just because you had a couple bad experiences doesn’t mean all the shoots are like that. I’ve never experienced that in any of the shoots I’ve gone to and I’ve been to quite a few different state shoots. The loads you described are just fine! Don’t judge the whole sport on a couple of occasions.
-
Well, they were not mouse fart loads but they were blanks! Cameras can do a lot of things and they weren’t really shooting at them guys! At least we shoot at targets and hit them for real!🙄

Window a/c units that make a room COLD?
Rye Miles #13621 replied to Charlie Harley, #14153's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
Yea, we don’t want your kind here! You’re nothing but trouble makers! 🤪 -
Wonder how much this cost? They said you can save $45 on your order! It’s got to be $300-$400
-
You beat me to it. I agree, it’s still a force.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Glad you asked. Hopefully someone with medical knowledge will answer.

Just curious, why do you want it that cold? When it’s 90-95 here my AC never goes below 72 -
Looks good! I’ll check it out!

Finally a commercial I like!
Rye Miles #13621 replied to Rye Miles #13621's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
I’m watching the Virginian right now and the commercial came on at 12:26, the show came back on at 12:28. It’s not as bad as you think better check again! BTW the next commercial was 12:35 that’s 7 minutes of the show and about 3 minutes of commercials. That’s about standard. 7-8 minutes of a show and 2-3 minutes of a commercial. I just timed it! -
Cool! 🤠

Your watch is wrong, about sports a baseball game doesn’t have a commercial til the half of an inning is over. That could be a long time sometimes even a half hour! Same with football , a commercial usually doesn’t show up until the sides change, sometimes during a time out they could throw a few commercials in. Time outs are usually 30 seconds and they don’t happen that often. It seems like there’s more time for commercials because we don’t like them. -

Rye Miles #13621 replied to Rye Miles #13621's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
There’s not 15 minutes of commercials in a half hour program, no way! A typical 30-minute TV news program usually contains: 📺 About 6 to 8 minutes of commercials total That usually breaks down into: 3 to 4 commercial breaks Each break lasting 1.5 to 3 minutes So in terms of individual ads: Roughly 8 to 15 commercials, depending on the length of each ad (15-second vs. 30-second spots) -
Yikes!

Me too but there’s something about this one that struck with me. Maybe it was the nostalgia of the song that was sung a long time ago by Dinah Shore, maybe the girl actually playing a guitar on the back of a pickup and with a decent voice and good looking too. She’s the real deal. I don’t like hardly any commercials but this one I thought was pretty cool.
