I have a cousin whose name is PJ. ( Paul James) everyone called him PJ ever since he was a kid. I have another cousin who everyone calls him Junior. He’s named after his father, (he’s Leonard Jr.) but we’ve all called him Junior ever since I can remember.

Who cares, those were some cool moves. The store has insurance and the robbers will have to pay something I assume. That is if they have anything.😂

Your kid is not my problem.
Your kid is autistic? Your kid has tourettes? Your kid doesn't have any hands or feet?
Not my problem. Your kid. Your problem.
No one said it was your problem! I just thought it was an interesting story. As John Kloehr said the Uber driver didn’t follow protocol for minors also when the kid got to the airport he went in line to board, WITHOUT A TICKET! 😂😂

Normal kids listen?
More so than an autistic kid. I have a friend who has an autistic son, believe me he doesn’t listen at all! I know there’s different types of autism but generally they’re harder to control than normal kids.

Absolutely. We need one more thing. Because we don't have enough things that kids are not allowed to do, we need one more thing that kids can't do without an adult.
The father is blaming the Uber driver. "Why would he pick him up without an adult????"
I don't know. Maybe because someone at that address called, and when the Uber showed up the kid came out and said "are you my Uber?", and acted in a normal manner. Put his suitcase in the car, got in, and gave and gave his destination to the driver.
The father is mad with the Uber driver.
Maybe the father should have had a talk with his kid.
DON'T CALL UBERS AND HAVE THEM TAKE YOU AWAY.
DON'T GO TO THE AIRPORT AND GET ON AN AIRPLANE TO JAPAN.
You know - parenting things. Don't rely on the Uber driver to refuse the kid. Don't rely on the airport to not sell him a ticket. Try actually RAISING your kid.
I agree but the kid is autistic don’t forget, he probably doesn’t listen very well like a normal kid.

I was just over at YouTube watching the ending where Wild Thing strikes out the Yankee and saves the game.
And then I got to thinking about the woke idiots that decided the Cleveland Indians could no longer be the Indians - because that was offensive. And if they somehow got a hold of this and edited to get rid of any reference to the Cleveland Indians.
You suppose that movie would be even shorter than Blazing Saddles, if they took all the racial offensiveness out of it? I've heard people say that movie would be about 2 minutes long.
How about Major League?
Please don’t give the woke owners any ideas! 🙄

This is not too strange but interesting. The pard that got me into cowboy shooting (his alias was Lil’ Bob) turned out that he was related to my aunt who was not my blood, she was married to my blood uncle. We discovered through some old pictures that we were at some parties together when we were little kids. We called each other “ cousin in laws”. We became really good friends. Sadly he passed in 2024.

They do have a lot at home, and it is a reason so many new ones (did) get minted. Only to once more end up in a coffee can or 5 gallon water jug at home.
Counting and rolling pennies by hand is roughly a minimum wage effort. Better return on larger denominations. The coin machines at the store count much faster but take a big percentage of the value.
I occasionally roll up my collected coins. Then try to remember to take them with me to the bank when I have a reason to go (which has sometimes been years). At th moment I have two rolls of pennies. At times, I have had over $100 of rolled coin to deposit. This amount does not count a few quarter rolls I hold back for car washes and such.
I have a hand crank up rolling machine that sorts all the coins. It was a gift from a friend. It’s a great little machine..

Praying that idjits don't set the hills on fire.

Steaks on the grill, some tv probably, make sure the drunk morons with the fireworks on the next street over don't set everything on fire as it has been very dry here for several months. I'll put the flag out at sunrise and take it in at sunset. Probably have to call the cops on whatever ***holes rent the AirBnB across the street.
My days of attending large parties on holidays is long gone.
Yea sounds like a plan. I’m not crazy about driving home after the shoot an hour and a half with crazy drivers! Walking across the street for a barbecue with my neighbors sounds better.

Theodore Roosevelt finally gets a library

Theodore Roosevelt was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor by Bill Clinton on January 16, 2001.
Roosevelt had been nominated for the Medal of Honor for his leadership during the Battle of San Juan Hill in 1898, but he did not receive it during his lifetime. After decades of renewed efforts by supporters and historians, Congress authorized the award, and President Clinton presented it to Roosevelt’s descendants just days before leaving office.
This made Theodore Roosevelt the only U.S. President to receive the Medal of Honor. (His son, Theodore Roosevelt Jr., also received the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Normandy landings, making them the only father and son to both receive the award.)
