I'm in my early 60's.
I have a beautiful waterfront home on beautiful land with a boat mooring at my front door (it's a sports fisherman's paradise), I live in the most beautiful scenic coastal timbered area, it's wild country just to the West of me.I have my children living in beautiful homes near me (who shoot with me), my grandchildren close to me (who shoot with me), my nephews, nieces (who shoot with me) and great nieces and nephews.
I have the graves of my grandparents and my parents and the graves of my wife's grandparents and parents to visit.
I have all my shooting pards, I've been the Club Secretary of our Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun club for 30+ years.
I have lifelong friends that I would do anything for and they would do anything for me.

I'm a police certified instructor.
I hold Range Officer qualifications for most of the above disciplines.I can shoot 24/7 365 days a year.
All my pistols, rifles & shotguns are stored in safes at my home. I can travel with them anywhere in Australia (and we have travelled far and wide in a motorhome and competed at hundreds of clubs) I can put them (and ammo) on a domestic flight and go and shoot in any State in Australia, I can put them on an International flight and compete in other countries.
Hunting...... and I haven't even mentioned the hunting!
I read around ten (10) US shooting mags each month (a mate gives them to me after he's read them) and they are often pretty depressing. It's rare if there's not a lot of pages of anti-firearm doom and gloom in every magazine.
You sound like you’re really entrenched in the gun world there and I commend you. I guess my question was directed towards the more common citizen that likes to shoot and has to put up with unfriendly gun laws much like some of our unfriendly states here.. things like concealed carry, open carry, stand your ground laws, castle doctrine etc. Ohio for example is very gun friendly. Anyone who is a legal law abiding citizen can carry for protection, no license required. We can buy any type firearm we want with no restrictions on ammo capacity etc. The AR 15 is very popular here in the USA and except for a few unfriendly gun states there is no restrictions. There’s people in those unfriendly states that think about moving so I was wondering about you pards in Canada and Australia since you guys are on this wire. Like I said no offense intended I’m just curious as I am with some of our pards here in some very gun unfriendly states here. Happy Trails. 🤠

Side matches tomorrow, Wild bunch at 9:00 and other fun stuff. Long range at 12, 100 yds for big bore 50 yds for pistol caliber rifle and pistols. Weather looks great! 70’s and sunny😎

If not in a holster it cannot be visible to anyone outside the car..
Yea we all get it but it’s a stupid law, the holster doesn’t make it any safer. I wonder if Hardin even knew about the law?

The only time I ever donated to a Go Find Me was one that someone started here in this town for a family that lost everything in a fire. They had insurance but it didn’t cover everything. There was 3 kids. I knew several people that knew the person that started it. It was legit. Otherwise i ignore-all of them

This is by no means not meant to put down either country but I wondered have you pards thought about moving to the USA for the freedom of gun rights we have? ( in most states) I know its a huge move but would it be worth it to you? Just curious. 🤠

Data centers are needed and so is strengthening the electric grid! These data centers use a lot of electricity and water from what I read.

1885 you say? Definitely a 73 in .44-40. The 66 and Henry’s were Rimfire so I’d choose the centerfire every day of the week.
