I had a pair of Wranglers that were so darn stiff it was hard to cock and the loading gate was stiff as well. I changed the main springs and it helped a little.
Heritage had a rebate and a LGS had them in sale. I wound up paying $69.00 for each pistol. I bought a pair and they were just fine out of the box. I sold the Wranglers and I shoot the Heritages all the time! I even bought extra cylinders for $29.95 each. I’ve had no problems at all and they shoot great! -

Thank you all for attending the last Shenango River Rats match of the outdoor season on Halloween at the Brookfield Conservation Club. A good time was had by all!
Pennsylvania’s Johnny Rails was our match winner! Congratulations, Johnny Rails! Thank you for attending and thank you for your generosity and continued support all these months.
Lefty Leadshot finished strong in second place; it was a close race. Thank you for all your assistance and help, Lefty.
Corporal Silverado was our third-place winner and one day he’ll be takin’ home a blue first-place ribbon!
Heartless Hannah was our Top Lady Shooter finishing in the Lucky Seventh place spot. Heartless Hannah is an asset to any posse!
Duelin’ Diehl, Brunswick Kid, Jocko, Walks Far, and Ridge Runner almost had a clean match. They were our lucky brown ribbon winners. Missed it by one! AwwShucks!
Congratulations to all our winners and contestants!
Our next match will be on Saturday November 9, 2024, at the Western Reserve Fish and Game Association in Niles, Ohio. We will begin our indoor season as the Lake Park Raiders starting in November and running to May 2025 when we’ll be back outdoors at Brookfield.

Just kidding, good looking out. I love Hornaday bullets for reloading, but their brass and loaded ammo sometimes leaves something to be desired. Have you contacted them about this? The very few times I dealt with Hornday customer service, I was quite pleased.
No I bought one box of 20, not worth my time to contact them. I’ll never buy them again. I bought some factory to get started on reloading.45. I’ve been reloading .38’s which is my main match caliber.
I bought a couple .45 rifles from a friend who’s not shooting anymore. They were originally mine 15 years ago.
I buy all my bullets from a local guy. Patriot Casting in Ohio.-

But seriously, it was a great time, and I took third place on the Cowboy division. I think there were three people...honestly, it doesn't matter, I have a pin to put on my hat. I met some neat people, and had a great time, and my wife tolerated the whole thing.

It has a lot to do with the sun shining in from the left. I've seen smoke like that from a lot of different powders in the sun. Just MHO.
