I am placing a kirst conversion cylinder in a pietta 1851 44 cal. The cylinder works fine and locks up well until I close the loading gate. If I open the loading gate the smallest amount the cylinder works fine. locks up when closed all the way. Any ideas? Thanks Bullett

This is from the Oregon State Black Powder match 2015. Match was hosted by the Pine Mountain Posse near Bend Oregon. Great range and a great group to shoot with. Thank You Bullett 19707 -
For sale is an RCBS strip loading tool. This would be the Strip loader and the priming press that mounts on the bench. For the press I have the handle and shell plates for different shells. Would like $100.00 plus shipping. I have seen several 73s made to shoot the 45acp. These were used in Wild Bunch and I think I saw several gunsmiths do them. Bullett 19707

Effects of cold and heat on ammo performance?
Bullett Sass 19707 replied to Warden Callaway's topic in SASS Wire
I shoot very light shotgun loads with clays and at about 20 degrees it makes a large flame out the muzzle and sounds strange. I up the powder in the very cold and problem almost goes away. Bullett 19707 -
What REB said. Been using 7/8 oz loads since 1995 knocks down everything I aim at. Bullett 19707

You will not find many sxs 410 for that price even the stevens go for 800-900 range. A stoeger will go for about 300-400 range. Bullett 19707
