I am posting this in here because I have seen some aviation buffs over the years. i was building an 82% scale but sold the project well over ten years ago. At the time I had a website with both original and replica Hawks. I decided to republish the original Hawk website with some additions. I am still adding to it and editing but if you are interested in some cool photos... https://sites.google.com/view/p6etest/army-hawks

I would recommend a Kohler over a Generac any day. If it will only run on rare occasions Generac is OK, but they run at 3600rpm. You want A 1800rpm unit if possible. I think Kohler makes one. I only use 20-30Kw diesels but I am totally off the grid with solar and generator backup.

Today marks one century since we have been honoring Americans who served or are serving in our Armed Forces. It started out as Armistice Day in 1919. and was changed to Veterans Day in 1954 TRR has on its rolls 40 Veterans, not bad out of a membership around 100. They have served in our Country and around the world during times of peace as well as war. Let everyone take a moment to remember their dedication and sacrifice to the United States for they are true Heroes. TRR Board Blackpowder Burn Crash Osage Mike Texas Jack Daniels cheyenne

Ummm, you do that on most old design hammer/trigger designs and you will either break the lip of the half-cock notch or the tip of the trigger (or sear, if design includes one). Most half-cock notches are "breakable" if you pull hard enough. Good luck, GJ

Does the buyer have to open the launcher closure at least half-way and have a clear (glass? or polycarbonate) cover, so that the Russian satellites can see there is no missile inside the silo, according to the Arms Reduction treaties? If you should build any structure above ground, be sure to inform the Russian embassy. The Titan Museum forgot to tell the Ruskies when they added another latrine structure near the half-open closure, and it caused all kinds of chaos. I wonder if the Russians had to send an inspector over to utilize the men's room, to verify its function?

There are lots of good clubs in Florida. They are organized by state on the main SASS website. You can download the Handbook but attending matches and talking to folks is a great way to learn the game.

There are a million great lines in the Wild Bunch: "Wooooeee this is better than a hog killin' !" "And I'm stuck with you egg sucking, chicken stealing, gutter trash without sixty rounds between you." "That's very smart! Very smart of you, damn gringos!" I can't wait for my first Wild Bunch match at the end of the month!

The process was begun in the Obama administration for two basic reasons: Jackson has fallen into disfavor with some of that ilk, largely because of his role in the Creek Indian wars, etc., and the admin also wanted a woman and an African-American on a bill. President Trump likes Jackson especially and doesn't want to see the change, however the process is under way but takes years. My own attitude has been that I don't like the change, but if it happens, Tubman is a good choice because, as I said above, she was a staunch Republican, a strongly devout Christian, and, in fact, she always went armed after she escaped slavery. She was a brave lady. In fact, when this was announced a few years ago, I got some real interesting looks from lefty friends when I pointed out those things!

Hard to get shooters to spend a lot of money to go to an event that had no shooting. Only reason I seen to go was an excuse to go to Vegas. But still never made it. Once it moved from there. No reason at all to go. Hence the death of the Convention. Or at least that's how I see it.

Another testament to the difficulty and high cost of removing or repealing bad legislation!! It costs next to nothing to institute bad law and takes little time, comparatively!! It take millions of dollars and YEARS of judicial gymnastics to get bad law overturned!!

Truth Hertz I'm betting you have no interest in buying this, just stirring the pot. You could have contacted the seller privately and discussed , and advised as he might not have known about any recalls. instead you make him look shifty, which I DO NOT believe is the case. You need to learn the "cowboy way" .

PLEASE DON'T use fillers with 777!!! Please read up on your powders. http://ns.hodgdon.com/loading.html "Triple Seven In Cartridges: Use data specifically developed for Triple Seven FFG only. Cartridge loads should be used exactly as listed in this pamphlet. You may safely use a card or polyethylene wad up to .030" in thickness to protect the base of the bullet. Loading density should be 100% with light compression not to exceed .100". Testing has shown that Triple Seven will perform best when the bullet just touches the powder. Allow no airspace between the base of the bullet and the powder. Do not reduce loads by means of filler wads or inert filler material such as Grits, Dacron or Grex. Do not heavily compress powder charges. The use of filler wads, inert fillers or heavy compression may cause a dangerous situation, which could cause injury and/or death to the shooter, bystanders or damage property. Do not create loads for cartridges not listed. Contact Hodgdon Powder Company for recommendations concerning other loads. *See WARNINGS below.

I went for 15 years with a pair of saddlebags over my shoulder while carrying my guns. In fact, I used those saddlebags at the last monthly. A cart works but you can get by without one for as long as you want.

I've been missing CW and did not know where he had been. He is an absolutely wonderful man, teacher, encourager, and mentor to many. I always enjoy his smile, his friendliness, his willing to help and his over all extremely positive attitude on life. I have not seen CW in a few years and to hear this so suddenly is horrible news. Certainly all my best and prayers for CW.

I am currently shooting two Fast Eddie SKBs. Both flawless. He calls himself an SKB mechanic, I think he's an SKB magician. I had and sold a Johnny Meadows SKB. It was fabulous, too and I liked the hold open feature. But he is moving, told me he might start up in a very limited capacity after his move. Not sure when that might happen. Given JM is getting out of the business, I'd go back to Fast Eddie for another. Actually have another virgin 100 in the safe...

Well, I contacted Amazon Customer Service. Gave them my info. They came back wanting to know when I retired or if I am still on active duty. I replied I had served and was not active or retired. They wrote back and asked for my email address, which I thought was odd as they were emailing me so I sent them the same email address. The lady wrote back and said “No, we need your “.mil” address” I explained I was not IN the military so why would I have a DOT MIL email address. They said they needed proof. I send them a copy of my license and told them they weren’t getting a copy of my DD214. I haven’t heard back. The two ladies I was corresponding with are Indian. I doubt they even know how this veteran thing works. At this point I don’t care. It was a nice gesture on Amazon’s part.
