I’m thinking that if he hadn’t have gone where he wasn’t supposed to go he wouldn’t have got treated like a pin cushion, kinda like going for a hike in North Korea, Iran or like places and wanting everyone to feel sorry for you when you get caught and imprisoned. Life is a real b*7ch when you do stoopid (CR) stuff. I dibs his dessert, by the way.6 points

Who cares? I am in my 80s and enjoy CAS. I shoot Grand Patron and compete against other older pards and pardettes. Just shooting is enough,. I don't need trophies. It's nice to shoot ahainst others with the same abilitiy. I shoot black powder Gunfighter. That's lots of fun. I am content to shoot with old and NEW friends. The number of categories does not affect me. Our club recognizes any and all categories. If it makes a fan of a competitor, so be it. Whining about too many categories is not "The Cowboy Way".4 points

T Bone is especially helpful. 11 or 12 years ago I blew my ranger up leaving the Bar 3. T Bone and crew came down and loaded it on a flatbed trailer, which I fell off of and sprained my knee. He then gave me a place to sleep for the night. In the morning he put me behind the wheel of his truck and sent me down the road to Dallas. He then trailered my truck into Texarkana to a mechanic friend of his, who diagnosed the problem and fixed it. T Bone called me on Thursday and said it would be ready on Friday and I could meet the guy at his Pawn Shop in New Boston. I arrived that afternoon with a half gallon of Crown and a check for T Bone as rent and gratitude for all he had done. He kept the whisky and tore up the check saying he was glad he could help. Hell of a guy!4 points

Thanks and the same to you. So far my Thanksgiving has been an adventure. I am smoking our turkey. In preparation for it, I brought both LP tanks inside to warm up a few days ago so the propane would have good pressure. I decided to weigh both in the process. One was almost out. Last night I ran into town to get an exchange tank. This morning I attempted to turn the deck lights on so I could get the smoker working. The deck lights are out. Grabbing a flashlight, I head out into the cold with my new, full exchange tank. The new to me tank wouldn't seal and kept leaking gas. No problem, or so I thought. I switched to my other tank. I got the smoker burning and within a few minutes the flame went out. So in the darkness, I'm trying to troubleshoot why I have no pressure. I frustration I ran my newer tank back to the store where I exchanged it. Luckily, they had one filled bottle left. Running home I put it on. It seals! I tried to light the smoker but I still had the same issue as before, no pressure and no flame. As my wife heads up into our dual tree stand to try and get her buck, I decided that maybe the regulator had water in it and was frozen. I ran to my work van, got my heat gun, ran an extension cord, all still in the dark, and started heating the regulator. After a few minutes, the burner lit and stayed on with full pressure. I am thankful! Dinner will be an hour late but at least it will happen. Lesson to be learned; don't let a propane regulator sit outside in cold weather without it being sealed up.4 points

How nice of him to go back. After missing the first time he recognized that they needed more practice and went back! What a guy!4 points

Get your Sharpie, and put a mark on the lock ring and the die body for quick reference point. OLG3 points

They use "O" rings instead. The threads are machined fairly tight & the lock rings tend to stay in place if/when dies are moved. I use their turret presses & just buy a separate turret for each caliber.3 points

Hey, I emailed that guy and I don’t think that’s the Vice President. He responded with some jibberish about a special deal on “booty call” videos and me needing to act now...but, I am a terrible actor.2 points

Can we get a rule change and and a new category to allow us to use it in SASS? 50 rounds of Pistol Cartridges: That could replace both pistols and the rifle. You'd only have to bring that and a shotgun to the line. Man, think of the faster times a person could have!2 points

On the playground during lunch break in the third grade in Minatare, Nebraska. We were all called back into the cafeteria and the announcement was made and we were all sent home. A few days later my family were all gathered around the tv when Jack Ruby shot Oswald. I thought Ruby should have got a medal for it, not arrested.2 points

The below link helps explain the type of scenarios that play out with older parents. If your parents fit into this category, this would be a great subject to talk about during Thanksgiving dinner. https://www.aarp.org/money/scams-fraud/info-2018/grandparent-scam-scenarios.html2 points

Shooter sits at table (reasonable size) with both hands holding poker hand. Derringer or Pocket Pistol lying next to shooter. Target across from shooter within 3-5 feet being paper type plate 6-8 inch plate for Derringer or Pocket Pistol. With Derringer: At the Beep shooter picks up Derringer firing two shots at paper plate. Scoring the hits on plate plus time. With Pocket Pistol: At the Beep shooter picks up Pocket Pistol firing five shots at paper plate. Scoring the hits on plate plus time. Winner is scored by the number hits on Target and the fastest time. I have seen this event where shooter shoots over and over again & again. It is recommended that the shooter be allowed one practice with Derringer or Pocket Pistol. After that the shooter then shoots Derringer or Pocket Pistol for record scoring. Event is simple and positive without a bunch of guide lines. Respectfully: Jackrabbit Joe2 points
