No such thing. Read the law in question. The term really is silencer. Being pedantically silly here. -

A few years ago, the ATF decided that pre 1934 short barrel Winchesters, Marlins, and a few other guns I don't remember, did not have to be regulated by NFA 34 anymore, if the short barrel was proven to be factory original. Anyone that owned such a gun could ask the ATF to take it off the NFA list, and they would do so. But only if asked. If you didn't ask, it remained regulated. But if you asked, they'd give you a letter saying the gun was not regulated by the law. If you happened to have one that was not properly registered, but could prove that the short barrel was factory original, I believe they would also send you a letter saying it was not under NFA 34. I am also not sure if you have to ask for such a letter or not. I think you do. But we are getting into speculation now, and I don't wanna speculate. It's too dangerous! -
The Germans had a bounty on his head
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 posted a topic in SASS Wire Saloon
“The Kilted Killer’s” flashy battle attire and relentless tenacity earned him a 30,000 Franc bounty on his head for whichever German could kill him first.” “Sir Tommy Macpherson made it through the entire war despite the Germans’ determination to take him out — even orchestrating the surrender of 23,000 German troops at the Das Reich Headquarters by bluffing that the Royal Air Force would unleash hell if they didn’t cooperate. In reality, Machpherson was alone and the RAF had no idea he was there, but he still managed to convince German Gen. Botho Henning Elster to give up his men and vehicles. Macpherson walked away from World War II as the The UK’s most decorated living soldier in history, earning the Military Cross for his escape from a Nazi prison camp in Poland, a papal knighthood and two bars for his valiant — and unusual — service.” Story by Emma Liem - We are the mighty -

Trying to fast at shooting duelist
Widder, SASS #59054 replied to Stagecoach south's topic in SASS Wire
I agree with you, Randy..... 100%. If a person really wants to be fast, ya gotta pull out nearly all the restrictions to find out those 'impossible' limits. Soon, the practice sessions will reveal areas of sloppiness that can be worked on. AND, those fast practice sessions will also reveal that your previous 'limitations' are changing because your speed has improved. Assuming you don't have any restrictive health issues, you gotta believe in yeowndangself and believe those 'unreachable' speeds are actually not impossible to reach. Sooooooo, I would suggest you practice hard and practice fast. At a match, its o.k. to throttle back a little. But when its practice time again, as Randy stated, ya gotta practice fast to know your speed limits..... and then exceed it. You might be the next 'speedmeister'. ..........Widder -

When I first talked to the doctor about getting contacts he told me to stick my finger up and touch my eye with it. I asked him why. He said that if I could not touch my eye with my finger there was no way I would be able to put contacts in. Fortunately I had learned years before that the way to touch your eye is first lick your finger. Because tears and spit feel the same. If you have saliva on your finger you won't feel it on your eye, but if you stick your dry finger up there your eye will start to burn.

The short barrel rifle will cost you a $200 tax stamp plus some paperwork. I don't think there's an exception for old guns, factory original or not. The good news is that the ATF seems to be fast tracking NFA paperwork right now. At least on suppressors. -
