  2. For sale is a knee length leather coat. This is a very light weight leather coat, no buttons but has two button holes on each side. I’m 5’-11” and 160# and it fits fine over light clothing so I would say it’s a medium size. The leather is clean, no wholes, tears, or other issues. The lining is clean and in very good condition. $50 plus shipping, (folded it fits in a priority box).
  3. There are some situations in which leaving an unfired round in a revolver on purpose would be scored as a miss. (e.g. if a shooter miscounts the number of rounds fired and chooses to NOT redraw the revolver and fire it). We're NOT going to list every possible scenario and the applicable assessment of penalties (if any). Individual circumstances will dictate the call.
  4. @DocWard is right, fresh ground coffee is well worth the effort!
  5. Never thought of that thank you for reminding me I will give them a call. Since I have several Smith and Wesson’s I should get a whole set of screws for free. Sent you a PM thank you

  7. It’s not too late to make it to this awesome shoot! As a matter of fact we will take walk ups the morning the shoot starts, this includes attendance and the Friday night BBQ and the Saturday night banquet!

  10. Remind otto that there is only one P in scraped. Pilonchillo is too good to be scrapped.
  11. In answer to your original question; Yes, that would be one course of action... especially if you cocked the hammer after firing that loaded round. Otherwise you risk having an unfired round (dud primer or not) under the hammer an suffer those consequences. As long as you didn't cock the hammer after firing that last shot, it would be hammer down on a spent round, no penalty. The "unfired round" penalty would only apply IF you didn't load a sixth round to fire the fifth round.
  12. I had a ~12 oz. version of that that I used at reenactments. One evening, Friday set up, I got there early, got my tent set, got the fire area cleared, pit dug, and fire going for my evening meal. A young man showed up - he had worked a graveyard shift and driven from Bakersfield to Camp Meeker (near Jenner) in northern CA. He was dog tired, smelled my coffee, asked if he could have a cup. So I brewed one for him, even scrapped some sugar from the piloncillo for him. I don't think he had every had a cup of COFFEE, just Starbucks stuff. His eyes flew wide open..."That's STRONG!" I took the cup, sipped, "No, that's just coffee, about normal strength."
